Storms over the weekend

Well as most of you surely know this past Saturday evening brought much needed relief from the sweltering heat that the St. Louis area experienced for the last week and a half. The cold front that moved through the area late Saturday evening produced a heck of a light show with lightening streaking across the night skies. Hopefully you were able to witness this incredible light show without the damage that some of the storms produced.

The Cardinals signed Mark Derosa over the weekend and his play on Sunday was a sign of good things to come for the ball club. His much needed bat and glove at third base will be something the fans of the birds on the bat will come to appreciate over the rest of the season. Plus the man can pretty much play any position. Kudos to the Cards management for the signing. Now the Cards need to work on shoring up Albert's contract!

I don't know about you but I am looking forward to 2 days off this upcoming July 4th weekend. A little bbq and cold beverages and possibly a firework or two. It is hard to imagine where the first half of this year has gone. The older I get the faster time goes it seems.

Have a great day and drive safely and remember nothing exceeds like excess!

The New All Star Gazzette

My name is Mike Hudson and welcome to my new blog! Come on in sit down and put your feet up. I hope you enjoy this little haven of fun and come back often. I recently started working here at All Star after 26 years working for the former Reuther Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealership in Creve Coeur. I was fortunate to be able to join the All Star family and continue to do what I know best. And that is help sell and promote the Chrysler Jeep & Dodge line up of vehicles. My new title here at the dealership is Assistant New Car Sales Manager and get to work with a bunch of great people. My Boss Scott Hamilton is the New Car Sales Manager has been with the dealership over 20 years which says something about the way the place is run. From the owner Vince Capatosta to General Manager Justin Akin I couldn't have felt more welcome. This September 13th will mark their 30th year in business WOW! They have been around along time and know their stuff! Needless to say I am very excited to be working here. So I would like to say hi to all the new customers I am going to meet and would like to invite all of my old customers to come and see my new dealership.

This blog will be filled with fun stuff, trivia, sports and a bunch of other interesting and light hearted articles so come back often and please feel free to leave comments.
